HGV Driver

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver for roll on roll off operations. This is a full-time role working 48 hours per week (05:30 – 15:30, Mon - Fri) based from the Widnes area. This is initially a temporary assignment with the view to go permanent.
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced driver to operate a roll on roll off vehicle, delivering and collecting large waste containers. This role involves working within the commercial and industrial waste sector, following health and safety procedures, and maintaining excellent service standards.
Main Duties:
* Driving an HGV vehicle to transport roll on roll off containers to various locations
* Loading and unloading containers using hook loader mechanisms
* Adhering to all company and legal health and safety requirements
* Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects
* Supporting waste collection operations and site requirements as directed
Essential Criteria:
* Valid HGV licence
* Previous experience operating roll on roll off or hook loader vehicles
* Experience in commercial waste, skip, or recycling operations preferred
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a waste management environment
* Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
