Reeson Education is delighted to be working with a larger-than-average primary school in the heart of the OL9 postcode area. We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a delightful Year 2 pupil who is on the autism spectrum. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child's educational journey.
The child has sensory processing disorder, struggles socially, and can feel easily intimidated. They require the support of a nurturing, kind, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who will help them build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and feel secure in their school environment.
This full-time, long-term role runs from 8:30AM to 3:30 PM daily, with a 30-minute break. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's individual needs, fostering their social development and assisting with their speech and communication challenges. While the child may find some aspects of communication challenging, they are eager to engage and build connections with the right support.
