Full‑time, Permanent
We’re supporting a precision engineering company in Huddersfield with an excellent reputation for looking after its people. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Dispatch Labourer to join their friendly, hard‑working team.
This is a hands‑on role in a clean, well‑run engineering environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to build a long‑term future with a supportive employer.
What you’ll be doing
* Preparing items for the paint process
* Masking and de‑masking components, including touch‑up work where required
* Coordinating with supervisors to ensure products are ready for painting on time
* Working with the Transport Manager to arrange deliveries and collections with subcontract painters
* Packing finished products safely and correctly for dispatch
* Completing basic checks and documentation before goods leave the site
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Keeping the dispatch and outside areas clean and tidy
* Assisting the fitting shop when needed
* Driving company vehicles when required
