How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An established UK-based organisation operating in a highly regulated international sector is seeking a Trade Compliance Officer to support its growing operations.

This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and international import/export regulations, including US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure trade compliance considerations are embedded across projects, operational processes, and business activities.

    The Role:

+Provide expert guidance to project, engineering, and operational teams on export classifications, licensing requirements, and trade compliance considerations.

+Prepare and manage export licence applications, regulatory documentation, and ensure adherence to licence conditions and customs requirements.

+Conduct trade compliance monitoring, training, and internal audits, while supporting regulatory engagement and continuous improvement of compliance processes.

    Key Skills and Experience:

+3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, export control, or international trade regulation.

+Knowledge of customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international shipping practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a trade compliance professional looking to take ownership of a critical role within a highly regulated international environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key part in shaping and strengthening the organisation’s trade compliance framework
