How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client is seeking a hands-on Product & Installation Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of their conservatories, orangeries and kitchens from sales through on-site installation. This role bridges all departments within the company, working closely with sales, surveying, CAD, processing, factory, clients account managers, site fitting teams, and suppliers to prevent defects, improve processes, and ensure that finished installations meet customer expectations first time. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, field-oriented, and comfortable spending time both on the shop floor and on few selected construction sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    Factory Product and Installation & Site Quality

    * Work with all departments to improve processes, reduce rework, and improve productivity.

    * Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities (occurrence and non-detection)

    * Analyse recurring defects, find patterns and feed lessons learned back into the business.

    * Define quality requirements standards.

    * Develop inspection plans and quality checklists for key milestones.

    * Perform random in-process and final product inspections on sites.

    * Support introduction of new products, materials, and production methods

    * Support Purchasing for Quality of raw materials

    Continuous Improvement

    * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across factory and site.

    * Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection records

    * Monitor quality KPIs (defect rates, rework, site issues, customer complaints)

    Qualifications

    * Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Engineering, with a specialisation in Quality or Lean manufacturing technics.

    * 2–3 years of experience in quality, production, or site supervision.

    * Experience with quality tools such as Ishikawa diagram (cause–effect / 5M or 6M), 5 Whys root cause analysis, Corrective Actions Preventive Actions, PDCA and DMAIC tools.

    * Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

    * Comfortable working both in a factory environment and on construction sites

    * Strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
