Van Driver

Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery Van drivers delivering furniture for IKEA individually or alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

* Driving a 3.5 Tonne Van in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation

* Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects

* Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured and delivered in a safe manner

* Always providing a first-class customer service experience

REQUIREMENTS:

* This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items

* Valid in-date driving license manual licence

* No more than 6 points on driving license

* Previous experience in a multi drop role would be advantageous but not essential

* Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential

* DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
