The Role:
The position involves traveling both within the UK and internationally to carry out a range of tasks, including equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis. The role requires a high level of flexibility, as assignments abroad can last up to two weeks at a time. When not traveling, the successful candidate will be based at their facility in Cambridgeshire. On average, travel commitments amount to around 2–3 weeks per month, which may occasionally include weekends. Typical destinations include Europe, North America, and occasionally Asia.
Key Skills and Experience:
+Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics (essential)
+Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
+Proven customer service skills with a commercially aware mindset
+Self-motivated, capable of working independently and managing own tasks
+Familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs (desirable)
