How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Engineer – Project Manager - Manufacturing– Electrical – Cannock

    Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for a Project Engineer / Project Manager within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with experience within a manufacturing environment, electrical manufacturing would be ideal but isn’t essential.

    This company have an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. The company have a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!

    As Project Engineer / project Manager you will be:

    * Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP.

    * Taking Projects from cradle to grave.

    * Generating and adhering to the Project plan.

    * Building relationships with your assigned customers.

    * Keeping customers updated on any timescales or issues.

    * Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to.

    * Dealing with any quality concerns.

    * Meeting project deadlines.

    * Managing the project’s budgets.

    * Updating the system.

    * Other duties as required.

    The working hours for this Project Engineer / Project Manager’s role are excellent:

    Mon – Thurs 8am – 5.15pm

    Fri 8am – 12pm

    To be suitable for this role of Project Engineer / Project Manager you should have previous experience in a Project Engineering role within a production / manufacturing environment. This experience would ideally have been gained within the Electrical sector, but all backgrounds would be considered. A Prince2 qualification would be desirable, but experience is more important.
