How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a maintenance position for one of our clients . The Engineer is required to undertake multi-skilled maintenance on an industrial site and can be mechanical or electrically biased Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with excellent starting salary.

    The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be undertaking electrical maintenance on a range of machinery. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM's weekly and installation work on a project basis.

    Most of the role will revolve around front-line electrical maintenance (3 phase equipment) and fault finding on PLC’s so industrial electrical experience is essential. Basic mechanical experience (machines, pumps, bearings, pneumatics/hydraulics) would also be useful.

    As a skilled and meticulous Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be well organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.

    The Candidate:

    * Ideally multi-skilled

    * Electrical Engineering qualification
