Vehicle Damage Assessor

Kolt Recruitment seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a well-established accident repair centre in Croydon. As a VDA, you will play a key role in accurately assessing damaged vehicles, producing repair estimates, and liaising with insurers and customers to ensure a smooth repair process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

* Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce clear, detailed repair estimates.

* Use Audatex to compile repair costs.

* Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers regarding repair authorisation.

* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and industry standards.

* Work closely with the workshop team to plan and oversee repair progress.

* Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair journey.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator in an accident repair centre or bodyshop.

* ATA VDA Accreditation (or working towards) preferred.

* Strong knowledge of Audatex or similar estimating systems.

* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

* Confident communicator with both customers and insurance companies.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
