The job:
* Set up and operate CNC machine tools to produce large components to quality standards and tight tolerances
* Support colleagues and trainees with training as required
* Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Health and Safety procedures
Skills /experience
* Engineering NVQ Level 3 or formal apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
* Manual Milling
* Manual Turning
* CNC Machining using Fanuc and Heidenhein controls
* Ability to write and amend CNC programs
* Must be able to work to a high level of quality
* Must have good attendance record and excellent timekeeping
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
