How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are now recruiting for a bank of great candidates for our clients Warehouses in and around Bognor Regis.
    For this particular role, we are requiring to REGISTER a number of people who are looking to work on the picking line and to also work in the goods in/ goods out dept.
    You would earn £476.62 per week, paid weekly plus accrued holiday pay (Equivalent to £24,784 per year) + real overtime opportunities.
    * Pay per hour is £12.71 + holiday pay
    * Rising to £13.45 + Holiday pay after a 12 week period.
    * Paid weekly-37.5 hours per week- Overtime paid after 37.5 hours at Time and a Half- Not compulsory.
    • This is a very varied and interesting role. Flexibility is required. Training provided/ Punctuality and reliability is expected.
    • A very good opportunity to learn new things and the genuine possibility to progress with this great company.
    Some of the duties will include
    • Stickering/Destickering books, picking and packing, ready for dispatch.
    • Scanning books with barcodes, proper arranging of books into boxes, securing in preparation for despatch.
    • In time, this position could lead to a PERMANENT opportunity for the right candidates.
    Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential.
    * Must have a good command of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood.
    * Please be aware that there will be some heavy lifting and stacking of boxes will be required.
    * Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest must be worn whilst on site.
    * Manual Handling of goods-All training and Induction provided by the client.
    Cafeteria facility available on site.
    Smoking is permitted in outside designated areas during desihnated breaks only.
    Mobile phones must be turned off during core working hours.
    Any holiday requests must be agreed with our client first, then notifying (A259 Recruitment)
