The Role
As a Secondary Cover Supervisor in Birmingham, you will be responsible for overseeing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. Your key duties will include:

Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and focused learning environment for pupils aged 11–16.

Lesson Delivery: Ensuring students complete the work set by the department and stay on task.

Problem Solving: Responding to any queries from students and managing behaviour according to school policy.

Handover: Providing clear feedback to the school at the end of the day regarding student progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements
To be a successful Secondary Cover Supervisor in Birmingham, you must have:

Experience: Proven experience managing groups of teenagers in a classroom or similar setting (e.g., coaching, youth work, or military training).
