Electrical Test Technician

Zenith have the pleasure of working with our client who are a North-East based manufacturer with growth plans for 2026 and beyond. Our Client is in the process of developing and adapting new technologies to support these growth plan and testing is an important part of the development process. They are looking for a flexible Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be involved in the construction of bespoke test rigs used to prove operation and reliability. You may also be involved in the testing of robots in the laboratory, in the test tank or offsite.

Qualifications & Experience Required

For this role, you will require an HNC in an electrical subject and +5 years industrial experience. Experience and knowledge of the following is also a requirement:

• Good working knowledge of panel wiring working to electrical drawings

• Experience constructing electromechanical sub-assemblies

• Experience working in a continuous improvement environment

• Possess an understanding of the requirements for the correct assembly of electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies

• Experience stripping, crimping, and terminating cables
