We’re hiring for a £20m, James Bond-style super-prime residential fit-out near Weybridge – the kind of project where the finishes are exceptional, the details are relentless, and the budget needs constant defending.
The role (QS reality edition):
Keeping costs under control while the design evolves in real time
Managing subcontractors who are very confident in their numbers
Handling valuations, variations, and final accounts without losing your head
Translating site chaos into commercial clarity
Overseeing a Project QS and showing them how it’s really doneThe setup:
Current project: Weybridge
Future work across the Basingstoke → Oxford corridor
Ideally based somewhere that makes both workableWhat you’ll need:
Proven experience as a Senior QS
Background in super-prime / high-end residential – time-spent elsewhere would be good
Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and able to push back when needed
Someone who can lead, not just reportWhy it’s worth it:
