We are currently recruiting for a School Receptionist and Administrator to join a busy primary school office on a full-time basis. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the school and providing excellent support to staff, pupils, and visitors.
Role responsibilities include:
Managing the school reception and welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general enquiries
Maintaining pupil records, attendance, and administrative databases
Supporting school communications, correspondence, and reporting
Assisting with general administrative tasks and office organisation
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all timesThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience preferred)
Strong organisational and IT skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain oneThis is a full-time position, ideal for someone organised, reliable, and passionate about supporting a school community.
