We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a technically challenging topside brownfield project. This is a remote contract opportunity working with a multi-disciplined team of specialists delivering engineering and design solutions in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural analysis and design for topside and brownfield projects
Prepare calculations and documentation using Mathcad
Model and analyse structures in STAAD
Support project delivery from concept through detailed design
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and compliance
Contribute to technical reviews, quality assurance, and HSE compliance
Essential Requirements:
Proven structural engineering experience in topside or brownfield projects
Strong proficiency in Mathcad and STAAD
Solid understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards
Experience in offshore or heavy industrial environments preferred
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
