Role Overview
Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician based in Bishop Auckland, supporting flow testing and calibration projects for gas infrastructure. It’s a hands-on, practical role working closely with engineers and technicians, contributing to safety and the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide E&I support for testing projects and instrumentation setup
* Ensure equipment meets industry standards and delivers accurate results
* Record, validate, and manage data and maintenance records
* Support electrical maintenance and general operations
* Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities
* Communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical (City & Guilds)
* 18th Edition wiring regulations
* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
* Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and hazardous areas
* Strong health & safety awareness
* Good organisation, teamwork, and adaptability
