How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Service Engineer

    West Bromwich (Commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Walsall, Bridgnorth)

    £33,000 - £36,000 + Van / Fuel Card + Overtime 1.5x + Training + Local Patch + Benefits

    Are you a Mechanic, REME, Forklift or Plant Engineer looking to join a National leader in the industry who can provide full manufacturer led training and clear progression opportunities?

    On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role. You will work on modern equipment, cover a local patch and maintain a good work life balance.

    The company are a multi-million manufacturer of specialist Plant and Material Handling equipment supplying to leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans.

    This is a highly varied Monday - Friday days based role covering a local patch. You will visit customer sites performing servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of Electro-mechanical equipment.

    This role would suit a Mechanically experienced Engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi-skilled training and job a secure business.

    The role.

    Service and Maintenance on Access, Material Handling, Forklift equipment.
    Monday - Friday local field-based role.
    Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics involved.

    The person.

    Plant, Forklift, REME, Material Handling, Vehicle background.
    Any Mechanical background welcomed.
