Location: Dublin with travel to project locations as required.
Civil Structural Engineers will provide advanced civil and structural technician services to support the expansion of electrical transmission networks and to help develop innovative engineering solutions for large capital infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include preparing general arrangement and construction detail CAD drawings (civil and/or structural) and analysing collected data to produce effective civil and structural designs for transmission projects.
Requirements:
5+ years post qualification experience with an engineering design office with particular focus on structural steel detailing.
A Level 8 qualification or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised third-level institution, or more than 10 years of relevant experience that clearly meets/ exceeds the requirements of the position.
A third-level qualification in Digital Construction (BIM) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Extensive experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for the design, drafting, and coordination of engineering projects.
Proficient in creating detailed 2D and 3D models, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, BIM-compliant designs.
Work from home: The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week
