How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    PAT Tester (Field Service)

    £40,000 (On Track) with Price Works Bonus & (£26k Basic) + Training + Overtime + Van + Fuel Card + Training

    Home Based, covering Harrogate, Boroughbridge, Wetherby, Knaresborough, Otley, Ripon, and the surrounding areas.

    Are you a PAT Tester looking to join a market-leading company offering great training schemes with a great overtime system in place?

    On offer is a great opportunity to join this fast-growing well-known compliance specialist covering commercial and industrial contracts with further progression to Electrical Engineer working to IEE guidelines.

    The position will involve covering a local area normally two hours of your home location, where you will develop your knowledge within the electrical industry, broaden your specialist skillset and ensure you are given the foundation in order to progress upwards in the technical world.

    This would suit a PAT Tester looking to work within the industrial and commercial industry.

    THE ROLE

    *Field service role covering a local patch

    *Bonus paid 275 items tested a day at 20p, 30p per 1 item over 350 and 40p per item over 400 items.

    *PAT Testing items to IEE Standards

    THE PERSON

    *Experience in the industry

    *Full driving Licence

    *2377 qualified
