Key Details: Mechanical Fitter
* Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 17:00, Friday 07:30 – 12:30.
* Permanent contract.
* 33 days holiday.
* Company tool allowance scheme.
* Salary ranging from £28,000 - £32,000.
Duties and Experience: Mechanical Fitter
* Working in a systems-assembly department, assembling and building automated machinery and equipment to detailed engineering drawings.
* Carrying out testing, fault finding and diagnostics inspections of the build to ensure everything meets high standards.
* Extensive use of a range of power and hand tools to assemble the parts.
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
* The role will involve travel to customer sites both in the UK and overseas, therefore a valid passport and the ability to travel is a requirement for the role.
* Must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with experience of completing mechanical inspections.
* Proven experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or similar.
* Solid knowledge of engineering processes and extensive use of hand and power tools.
