An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Laser / Waterjet Machine Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Blackburn.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in profile cutting who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a busy production environment.
The Role
* Operate laser and/or waterjet cutting machines
* Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
* Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are met
* Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
* Carry out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
* Work to production targets while maintaining accuracy and quality
About You
* Previous experience operating laser or waterjet machinery
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Good understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing environment
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
Desirable Skills
* Experience with CNC-controlled cutting machines
* Basic setting or programming knowledge
* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

£13.00 - £14.00 per hour
