How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    Heart of Supply is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the heart of Lincoln, who are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish to join their team from April 2026 through to the end of the academic year.

    This is a full-time opportunity within a supportive and friendly school environment, where you will take on full teaching responsibilities, delivering engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons up to Key Stage 4.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Spanish, confident and effective classroom practice, and a genuine passion for inspiring students in language learning.

    About the school

    Part of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust, the school serves a diverse and vibrant community of students aged 11–18. It is committed to fostering a culture built on respect, inclusion and high expectations, where every student is supported to achieve their full potential. The school places a strong emphasis on personal development, positive relationships and a sense of belonging, ensuring that all members of the community feel valued, encouraged and inspired to succeed.

    What you will need:

    * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK secondary classroom experience

    * Strong subject knowledge in Spanish, with the ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

    * Confident and consistent behaviour management strategies, with the ability to set clear expectations and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment

    * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships quickly with students, staff and the wider school community

    * Resilience, adaptability and a proactive approach, with the confidence to respond effectively in a dynamic classroom setting

    * A genuine passion for Spanish and for supporting students to achieve their potential

    * A minimum of 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience (including placements)

    We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks (with children’s barred list), professional references, and appropriate online vetting as part of our safer recruitment process.

    What we offer you:

    * Competitive weekly PAYE pay

    * A range of roles that work around your lifestyle, preferences, and goals

    * Access to exclusive secondary teaching opportunities across Lincolnshire

    * Ongoing support from an experienced, approachable consultant who genuinely listens

    * Free CPD and continuous professional development

    * A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme

    * A welcome bonus (terms and conditions apply)

    * A transparent, people-first agency that genuinely cares about your journey
