How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Manufacturing Engineer (Contract Outside IR35)

    We are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the automotive sector who are looking to engage an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on an outside IR35 contract basis.

    This is an initial 3–6 month contract, offering a highly competitive day rate outside IR35.

    This is a key role within the business, focused on reviewing, documenting, and standardising existing and new processes, helping to establish a unified approach to manufacturing operations.

    Manufacturing Engineer
    Key Responsibilities:

    Review current manufacturing processes across multiple sites to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
    Develop, document, and implement standardised operating procedures (SOPs)
    Collaborate with site leadership, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment and adoption
    Drive best practice in process governance, documentation, and continuous improvement
    Support change management initiatives to embed new standards effectively across the organisationManufacturing Engineer
    Key Requirements:

    Strong background within automotive manufacturing environments
    Proven experience in process mapping, documentation, and standardisation
    Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence frameworks
