How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are now recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our site in Portadown, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland.

     

    About the role

    As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end planning, coordination and execution of supply chain activities for the Portadown site. You will ensure that materials, components and finished goods flow efficiently and cost‑effectively through procurement, production, warehousing and distribution.
    You will drive operational excellence, optimise planning processes, support supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure strong service levels and cost control. 

    Key responsibilities

    Lead the site supply chain strategy to support production and business objectives.

    Oversee forecasting, materials planning and production scheduling to ensure OTIF performance.

    Manage inventory levels and implement controls to avoid shortages or overstock.

    Monitor and manage supplier performance and drive risk‑mitigation actions.

    Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations.

    Ensure accurate SAP/MRP data and drive continuous process improvements.

    Track key KPIs and provide insights to site leadership, including contingency planning.

     

    Qualifications and skills

    Min. 3 years experience in supply chain management or planning within a manufacturing environment.

    Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, production planning and logistics.

    Experience working with SAP / MRP / ERP systems.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

    Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
