An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join a growing Building Services Design Consultancy in Milton Keynes.
This role is ideal for someone looking to play a key part in delivering energy-efficient, low-carbon solutions across a diverse range of projects, while developing their technical expertise within a supportive and experienced team.
The Role
As an Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you will:
Support the delivery of energy and sustainability strategies across multiple projects
Work closely with design teams to influence low-carbon and energy-efficient solutions
Carry out energy modelling and building performance analysis
Assist in the production of sustainability and planning reports
Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completionTechnical Responsibilities
Part L compliance and SBEM modelling
Dynamic simulation modelling using IES VE
Overheating assessments (TM52 / TM59 / Part O)
Operational energy modelling (TM54)
Support with BREEAM assessments and sustainability frameworks
Energy and sustainability reporting for planningAbout You
Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Building Physics, or similar
Experience in an energy or sustainability consultancy role
Proficiency with IES VE and/or SBEM
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and energy standards
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Willingness to work in the Milton Keynes office 2 days per weekBenefits:
