Press Operator

Are you an experienced machine operator who has operated production machinery, brake presses or similar? Have you worked to aerospace, automotive or medical standards? If so, this Press Operative position is perfect for you!

This Press Operative position is working for an aerospace manufacturer in the Fareham/Segensworth area. The position is working a late shift which is Monday to Thursday, 2pm – Midnight. The role has a shift uplift, paying up to £35,625.

The Press Operative role involves safely operating new automated press machinery to produce metallic meshes to aerospace standards. You will set up, run and monitor press cycles, ensuring tooling, dies and fixtures are correctly installed and aligned. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials safely, following job cards and engineering drawings, conducting quality checks, maintaining accurate test sheets for traceability and supporting MRB, NCR and audit processes.

You will need:

·        Previous experience in mechanical assembly and operating production machinery

·        To be able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately

·        Excellent attention to detail

·        To be able to work in an environment with solvents, dies and resins

·        To be able to commute to site for shift times
