In this Senior Transport Planner position, you will:
 
·Prepare and deliver transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies to support planning applications.
 
·Provide technical input on the design and appraisal of transport infrastructure.
 
·Liaise with developers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly.
 
·Use industry-standard software such as TRICS, LinSig, and Junctions to model traffic impacts and propose solutions.
 
·Guide and mentor junior colleagues, sharing your expertise in development planning.
 
To succeed as a Senior Transport Planner, you will bring:
 
·Experience within a transport consultancy, ideally focused on development planning.
 
·Strong knowledge of planning legislation, transport policy, and industry best practice.
 
·Competence with transport planning and modelling tools.
 
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
 
·The ability to manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
