Overhaul Technician
We are looking for experienced Rolling Stock Technicians to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of vehicles in Cardiff on a 6 month Contract basis.
This role has a rate of £24.31 ph PAYE or £33.00 Umb (Inside IR35) - 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday Earlies and Lates on a rotation.
The individuals must have experience in some form of heavy underframe overhaul or a relatable industry such as heavy engineering (REME, HGV, PSV etc)
Your Tasks
Carry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures
Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul.
Your Profile
Essential:
Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3.
Proven experience, involvement and understanding of rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities such as underframe or bogie overhauls or a relevant ulterior discipline
Understanding of Depot Operations, along with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering (Desirable)
