Responsibilities
* Develop and manage construction programmes that are realistic, achievable, and contractually compliant.
* Produce, submit, and maintain NEC3/NEC4 programmes in line with contractual requirements.
* Monitor progress on site, identify delays, and collaborate with site teams to implement mitigation strategies.
* Review compensation events and variations, producing robust programme evidence to support contractual claims.
* Provide programme-related input into cost and resource planning for the commercial teams.
* Communicate clear, accurate progress updates and forecasts to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
* Develop tender programmes to support competitive preconstruction submissions.
* Build strong relationships with operational teams and key stakeholders.
* Mentor and support junior planners, fostering a collaborative and innovative planning team environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in a Planner role is preferred but not essential.
* A background in engineering, site management, or project management is desirable.
* Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and construction contracts is advantageous.
* Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
* Exposure to a diverse range of civil engineering projects is beneficial.
