Vehicle Package Engineers

Expleo is seeking experienced Vehicle Package Engineers to support our premium automotive customer based in Warwick. This contract role plays a key part in the Engineering Integration function, contributing to the development of innovative vehicle concepts and ensuring seamless geometric compatibility across systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:-

Vehicle Concept Creation:

Develop vehicle concept proposals, including full vehicle architecture package layouts.Component & System Proposal Development:

Create outline component and system proposals to support early-stage vehicle package development.Detailed Vehicle Packaging:

Define and develop detailed vehicle packages at either the whole-vehicle level or for specific package zones.Geometric Issue Management:

Track, monitor, and drive resolution of all geometric issues within your assigned package zoneCross-Functional Mediation:

Work closely with Centres of Competence (CoCs), mediating and negotiating between engineering areas to resolve geometric conflicts and ensure integrated solutions.Skills & Experience Required:-

At least 2 years' experience in product development within vehicle integration or packaging role
Experience of CATIA V5 & V6 for detail or packaging design and geometric integration
Well-rounded knowledge of chassis & propulsion systems and sub systems
Experience of negotiating solutions in an area of technical conflict
Experience of using benchmarking tools to support idea generation
Experience of CATIA for detail or packaging design. (Other 3D CAD experience will be considered)
Good communication skills - written, graphical and verbal
Experience of negotiating solutions in an area of technical conflict
