Construo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Fire Stopper / Fire Door Installer to join a growing construction team based in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality fire safety and passive fire protection solutions across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
*
Installation and maintenance of fire doors, fire stopping systems, and associated fire protection works.
*
Carrying out inspections, remedial works, and ensuring all installations meet the latest fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
*
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans.
*
Working to strict health & safety guidelines and company quality standards.
*
Communicating effectively with site managers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Fire Stopper, Fire Door Installer, or similar role.
*
Strong knowledge of fire safety standards and passive fire protection regulations.
*
NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent (desirable).
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Full UK driving licence.
