How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
    Location- Warrington
    Shifts- £51,000 + Overtime (x1.5)
    Shifts- 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)

    Benefits- 6-8% Pension + 25 shift holiday days

    We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing facility in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while developing your technical skills through industry-leading training.

    The Role

    As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:

    Maintaining and improving a highly automated production environment
    Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
    Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
    Working on advanced PLC-controlled machinery
     Training & Development

    This business is known for investing heavily in its engineers. You will receive:

    PLC Training (Siemens Levels 1, 2 & 3)
    On-site product training
    External training via local colleges (e.g. welding, 17th Edition, etc.)
    Dedicated 2-week product training programme
    Ongoing development tailored to your skill gaps

    Salary: £51,000
    Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)
