How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Maths Teacher
    Location: Bridgwater
    Pay Range: £168.80 - £232.57 / day
    Contract Type: Full time, Maternity Cover

    ANZUK Education is working with a lively Secondary School in Bridgwater. The school are looking for a Maths Teacher to join their team on a long term basis from 6th May, 2026 until the end of the academic year. The role will involve teaching Maths to all year groups across KS3 and KS4 full time with marking and planning responsibilities.

    The successful candidate will be joining a high achieving department and a supportive and experienced team that are passionate about the subjects
    they teach.

    This Maths Teacher role in Somerset would suit experienced Maths Teachers as well as ECTs who are ready to take the next step in their career.

    Key Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

    * Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

    * Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.

    * Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.

    * Communicate effectively with parents and carers when required.

    The Ideal Maths Teacher Will:

    * Hold UK QTS

    * Be a confident ECT or experienced teacher of KS3/4 Mathematics

    * Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum

    * Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.

    * Have an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    * Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
