How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary SEN Teacher - SEMH specialist Provision

    Tewkesbury

    Full-time | Term time only

    After Easter Start

    £95 - £105 a day (dependent on experience)

    We are working with a warm and welcoming SEN school that support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and a range of additional needs. This school based in Tewkesbury provides a calm, therapeutic learning environment, where strong relationships and emotional development are at the heart of everything they do.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive and nurturing team in Tewkesbury, where pupils are encouraged to rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

    The Role: Primary SEN Teacher - SEMH Specialist Provision

    Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with SEMH and additional needs
    Delivering a creative, adaptable and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles
    Supporting pupils who experience behavioural challenges or barriers to education
    Working closely with a team to support EHCP outcomes
    Building strong, trusting relationships to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviourThe ideal Candidate:

    Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
    Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision (PRU/AP) settings
    Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient approach
    Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
