How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for an exciting new role from Easter 2026?

    A well-regarded primary school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their Year 3 class within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed KS2 Teacher to inspire pupils and contribute to a strong Key Stage 2 team.

    The Role

    As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic and personal development. The successful KS2 Teacher will work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
    Monitoring and supporting pupil progress
    Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    Working collaboratively with staff and leadership teams

    About You

    The ideal KS2 Teacher will bring energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for education. You should have strong classroom management skills and a commitment to helping every child succeed.

    Requirements:

    Experience teaching in a primary setting (Year 3 experience desirable)
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Strong organisational and communication skills
    Interest in wider school involvement (including potential TLR opportunities)
