Ceto Talent is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for a contract position with one of our valued clients in the defence and support services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional looking to apply their expertise in a mission-critical environment.
Supply Chain Manager Requirements
To be successful as a Supply Chain Manager, you will have:
Extensive experience operating within a supply chain or logistics environment
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and delivering excellent customer service
Demonstrated experience in effectively operating within a budget
Experience in handling, interpreting and reporting on data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and TEAMS)
Full UK Driving licence
Government Clearance will be needed
About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager will manage supply chain activities for an agreed range of inventory and support, including item data management, customer demand planning, inventory supply planning, supplier management, and inventory disposals. You will contribute directly to operational success across defence operations.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain item data records onto defence logistic information systems. Develop inventory demand and supply plans and execute within agreed financial delegation limits. Assist with identifying and securing optimal storage and distribution solutions. Produce customs declaration documents for HMRC compliance. Ensure defence inventory is properly accounted for materially and financially. Manage timely inventory disposal with accurate data. Conduct management checks to ensure policy and process adherence.

Rate: £20.52 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: North Wales/England Borders (3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
IR35: In scope
