The Head Teacher is looking to appoint a driven and enthusiastic NQT / ECT English Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. The Role: NQT / ECT English Teacher
As an English Teacher, you will:
Teach English across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Support pupils with GCSE English exam preparation
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
Follow and implement the school’s schemes of learning
Develop effective classroom and behaviour management skills with support from experienced staff
Requirements – English Teacher (NQT / ECT)
The successful English Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an English specialism
(NQTs / ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply)
Experience teaching English during training placements or previous roles
Strong communication and organisational skills
A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
