How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Low Voltage AP Instructor
    Swindon
    £40,000 to £45,000 p/a
    Full-time, permanent

    We are working with an electrical specialist in the Swindon area who are looking for a Low Voltage AP Instructor to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

    The successful candidates would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area, where they would be asked to deliver Low Voltage Authorised Person and short course training to adult-only learners (ie. no apprentices/children). Our client is a huge company with global reach, so there will be plenty of opportunities for progression and additional work if desired.

    The starting salary for this position is between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, and the package also includes a company pension, private healthcare, gym membership, and 34 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays).

    To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
    -Authorised Person status
    -Industrial experience of Low Voltage work
    -A desire to pass on your knowledge

    Please note that they can consider skilled industry candidates who are looking to move into training, and would be able to assist you with achieving your teaching/assessment qualification on the job (as well as paying for the course).
