Class 2 Hgv Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday

Hours: Start time: 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Pay Rate:

* Nights - £16.35 per hour

Location: Nottingham- NG16 3UA

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.

· Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

· Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

· Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.

· Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
