The Role
As a Senior Practitioner within MASH, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding, working collaboratively with partner agencies to assess referrals and ensure children receive the right level of intervention at the right time.
You will operate within a well-defined organisational structure:

* Referral & Assessment
* Family Support & Child Protection Teams
This structure ensures clear pathways, strong collaboration, and effective case progression across services.
Key Responsibilities
* Triage and assess incoming safeguarding referrals
* Provide expert guidance and oversight within the MASH team
* Work closely with multi-agency partners to share information and make informed decisions
* Support less experienced team members and promote best practice
* Ensure timely and high-quality recording and decision-making
Requirements
* Significant experience within MASH, Referral & Assessment, or safeguarding front-door services
* Strong knowledge of child protection frameworks and thresholds
* Excellent decision-making and leadership skills
* Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
