The school is looking for an enthusiastic SEN TA to start as soon as possible. You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team committed to helping every child achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The Role
In this position, the SEN TA will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with additional needs. The successful SEN TA will play an important role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of personalised learning activities
Working with pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis
Adapting resources to meet individual learning needs
Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement
Collaborating with staff, parents, and external professionals
About You
The ideal SEN TA will be patient, empathetic, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential, along with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.
