Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnstaple
Salary: £92.63-£100 per day
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
Work alongside the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with students’ academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring each child can reach their potential.
Develop supportive relationships with students, helping build their confidence and independence.
Provide assistance with any personal or medical care needs, when required.
Requirements:
A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with children.
Experience with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A flexible and proactive attitude to adapt to students’ needs.
