We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a growing and well-established manufacturer of high-quality mild steel windows and doors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist and in-demand sector.
This role will focus exclusively on mild steel products — no PVC or uPVC work involved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating machinery used in the fabrication of mild steel windows and doors
* Assisting with cutting, shaping, and preparing steel components
* Reading and working from technical drawings (training can be provided)
* Supporting the fabrication and production team as required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Ensuring quality standards are met at all stages of production
What We’re Looking For:
* Engineering background (college, apprenticeship, or work-based)
* Previous machine operating experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team
