About us:

We are a well-established fastener company looking for an enthusiastic addition to our team at our Birmingham factory. Established 50 years ago, the company wholesales and manufactures fasteners for distribution in the UK and worldwide.

The role:

We are looking for someone to fill an immediate vacancy as an NC Saw Operator working in a production environment. An ideal candidate would;

* Experience in a similar role is essential and required.

* Forklift licence/ certificate is essential and required.

* Excellent timekeeping and communication skills are needed.

* The role involves using a band saw to cut materials to specification.

* You must be comfortable using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.

Salary & benefits:

* Competitive salary, salaried weekly, a week in lieu. Weekly piece bonus based on factory output.

* 31 days paid holiday per annum, inclusive of statutory holidays. Pro-rated in the first year of employment

* 7.00 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00 am to 1.30 pm Friday. ½ hour unpaid lunch break. Equates to a 38.5 hour standard week.

* Potential Saturday morning overtime which is optional. Payable at 1 ½ time
