Financial Accountant

As our Financial Accountant you will play a central role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting for our growing organisation. You will be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements under FRS102, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, managing VAT returns, and supporting treasury and cashflow forecasting to guide key management decisions.

You will take ownership of capex reporting, maintain the fixed asset register, process inter-company loan transactions, and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth year-end processes. This role also provides the opportunity to support the CFO and private equity partners with ad-hoc analysis, giving visibility into strategic business decisions.

Salary: up to £50k base salary plus great benefits! 

Location: Head office - Bedford, Bedfordshire  

You will bring hands-on experience preparing statutory accounts, working with HMRC, and supporting audits. We are happy to consider qualified and part-qualified individuals, actively working towards AAT, CIMA, or ACCA. You will bring strong IT and Excel skills and be able to navigate multiple accounting systems confidently.
