Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that challenge, motivate, and support students of varying abilities.
* Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and a strong work ethic.
* Contribute to the wider English department, including curriculum planning and collaborative teaching approaches.
* Maintain excellent behaviour management in line with school policies.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
* A proactive, engaging, and supportive approach to teaching and learning.

Salary description
£168.00 - £232.00 per day
