Overview
We are recruiting for a reliable and detail‑focused Lab Technician to join a well‑established organisation based in Burton on Trent. This is a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering long‑term stability and progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine laboratory tests and quality checks in line with company procedures.
Accurately prepare, measure, and analyse samples.
Record and maintain detailed data, results, and documentation.
Ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used safely.
Follow strict health & safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Support senior lab staff with ongoing testing schedules and project work.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the laboratory environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience working in a laboratory or quality control environment (preferred but not essential).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
Good numeracy, data entry, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
