Search Consultancy is looking for a skilled and experienced Telehandler Operator to join a high-profile construction site in Hebburn. We are looking for an operator who prioritises precision and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Comprehensive Role Specification
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the telescopic handler. Key responsibilities include:

* Material Handling: Loading and unloading deliveries and distributing materials to various locations and levels across the site.
* Support for Trades: Providing essential lifting support to various sub-contractors, including bricklayers, joiners, and groundworkers.
* Safety Checks: Performing daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on the machine to ensure it is in full working order.
* Site Manoeuvring: Navigating the machine safely through tight spaces and busy site areas in accordance with the site traffic management plan.
* Lifting Operations: Executing all lifts with a high degree of accuracy and in compliance with the manufacturer's load charts and site lifting plans.
* Compliance: Adhering strictly to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment around the vehicle.

Requirements

* Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
* Safety Critical Medical (Must be valid and in-date).
* Full PPE (Hard Hat, High-Visibility Vest/Jacket, Steel Toe Boots).
* Proven experience operating a Telehandler on busy residential or commercial sites.
* Strong reliability and a proactive approach to site safety.
